With the legislative session over for this year Rima was able to help keep our freedoms intact. legislation for the sales trade in tax for motorcycles will continue through June 30 2024. Freedom of choice is the riders decision on helmet use this year also.

ENTITLED,AN ACT MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE STATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2023.
06/21/2022 Senate passed Sub A as amended in concurrence.
===============================
I checked the Bill Text just now -- to make sure that our Line Items stayed in exactly as written. ??
The Budget Line Items for the "Motorcycle Trade In Tax Exemption" "Passed" the Senate; now "In Concurrence" with the previously passed House SUB A.
Once the Budget Bill is transmitted to the Governor -- and signed in the coming days -- the Exemption will go into effect on October 1st, 2022 and remain in effect until June 30th, 2023.
Thanks for all of your hard work Paul! We would not be celebrating a Bill success without your efforts. Period.
